It was a very great honour to have been re-elected in November 2022 as President of the Federation for Scottish Culture in Nova Scotia. I have been a member since 2003. There have been so many changes during the last two decades, all for the better.
The last two years have been very challenging, especially for members of the Scottish and Gaelic Cultural communities. Happily, our festivals and events are returning. This year, 2023, promises to be the year that we storm back.
If you are interested in learning more about our organization, please contact us. We are always happy to assist you learn about culture and identity in Nova Scotia. We encourage both groups and individuals who want to support our collective Scottish Heritage to join the Federation. This will keep you up to date on happenings, and you will meet others who are also interested in the music, culture, Gaelic language, and fellowship with the people of the Clans.
